Walleye technique 2

Having poles outside (when possible) means being able to expand your area of contact.

Walleye technique

Often an indicator of bite activity will be revealed by using  a "still" line or "dead-stick". On this day less line movement meant larger fish.

Conservation

A conservation mindset is part of any successful fishery. Catch 'n release is part of this thinking.

Pro-Cure Scent

Part of my pattern for Lake Winnipeg walleye is to include scent. This 29" walleye showed a preference for Pro-Cure's "Emerald Shiner" super gel UV enhanced.

Walleye tactics 2

Lake Winnipeg Creel Census

Ice fishing Lake Winnipeg

Lake Winnipeg 13" of ice - (travel at your own risk) and I was able to get anywhere I wanted. Everywhere I stopped I would pick up a couple of active walleye.

Scent for walleye

It always helps to use a little scent when out for walleye. Pro-Cure's UV flash enhanced, Emerald Shiner Super Gel works for walleye on Lake Winnipeg.
